Since 1924 American bar has been the meeting point in the center of Mahón.
A bar that has experienced the history of the city first-hand and keeps many of the neighbor’s memories. Breakfasts, lunches, snacks, dinners with views of the central Carrer Nou from its emblematic windows or from its terrace exposed to the pulse of the city.
Since September 2021, the history of the American has written a new chapter in which gastronomy and culture go hand in hand to create the best environment from which to enjoy Mahón. With the purpose of communicating the cultural offer of the city and being participants in it by generating periodic events that serve as an excuse to meet and continue creating new stories.
Open from 9 to 00:00, the space changes at every moment of the day and with it its offer: the best coffee, pastries, salty snacks first thing in the morning to make way for our food menu where the dish of the day is the protagonist from Monday to Friday.
The afternoon arrives and with it the snacks: a variety of cut cakes, chocolate with churros to give way to beers and the extensive wine list by the glass.
Cocktails are a must in our bar that perfectly accompanies our portions, tables and special sandwiches.
